Building legacy programs
from The TIMES UNION

Jewish Federation of NENY leaders joined colleagues from across the country who are actively implementing the Life & Legacy program in Springfield, Mass., for this year's Life & Legacy/Create a Jewish Legacy leadership gathering. The event was aimed at building skills, sharing best practices and providing opportunities for networking among participants to continue creating sustainable, legacy giving programs in their communities. The NENY delegation was the largest at the conference and included 16 community members representing nine local legacy partner organizations. Northeastern New York's participating organizations are Sidney Albert Albany JCC, Congregation Berith Sholom, Congregation Beth Abraham-Jacob, Congregation Beth Emeth, Daughters of Sarah Senior Community, Congregation Gates of Heaven, Hebrew Academy of the Capital District, Congregation Ohav Shalom, Robert & Dorothy Ludwig JCC of Schenectady, Temple Sinai and Jewish Federation of NENY.
