A team of experienced legacy community consultants and staff work directly with the professionals and lay leaders of Jewish organizations in participating communities.

Ron Krit

Ron Krit

Ron Krit is the National Director of Life & Legacy, at the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. Before joining HGF, Ron spent 15 years at the Jewish United Fund in Chicago. He was the Associate Vice President of Endowment Development. In his role, Ron created, managed, and implemented a marketing and communications plan to help grow a two-billion-dollar endowment. Additionally, Ron oversaw the Life & Legacy program in Chicago since it was launched and had the opportunity to work with the HGF Life & Legacy team. With his coworkers, the Chicago community raised more than $62 million for program participants. Prior to JUF, Ron worked in management consulting, marketing and training in different industries including banking and events. He values the Life & Legacy work and HGF mission deeply and is energized to expand the work and reputation that his predecessor, Arlene Schiff, built with her team. Ron is based in the Chicago suburbs where he lives with his wife and two boys. In his free time, Ron has run a wellness company for over 20 years and is an author.

Arlene D. Schiff

Arlene D. Schiff is currently the Senior Advisor of the LIFE & LEGACY program. In this role she provides training and support to Jewish communities, and their local organizations, who are working to build their endowments through after-lifetime giving. Arlene served as LIFE & LEGACY's National Director for more than nine years, overseeing the program's implementation in 72 communities (and more than 750 organizations) throughout North America. Prior to joining HGF, Arlene served as the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and holds a M.A. from Harvard University.

Dena Kaufman

Dena Morris Kaufman

Dena Kaufman is a LIFE & LEGACY Legacy Community Consultant. In her role at HGF, she provides training and support to communities, across North America, to secure meaningful after-lifetime gifts. Prior to joining HGF, Dena served as the Director of Philanthropy for Sojourner Center, the nation’s largest domestic violence shelter. Dena began her career at the Jewish Federation of Phoenix working on the annual campaign. In her role as the Development Director at URJ Camp Newman, she established an annual campaign and a Legacy Society while planning and implementing a $30 million capital campaign. These initiatives serve as her Legacy to her beloved childhood camp. Dena has a BA in Business, Public, and Private Administration from the University of California at Riverside, is a Certified Fundraising Executive and a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy.

Tamra L. Dollin

Tamra L. Dollin

Tamra Dollin is a LIFE & LEGACY Legacy Community Consultant, providing training and support to communities across North America to secure meaningful after-lifetime gifts. Working in the Jewish community for over 25 years, Tammy most recently directed the establishment of Ramah in the Rockies, focusing on project management, fund raising, and board development. She is a certified professional Co-Active coach. Tammy holds Masters Degrees from Columbia University (MSW) and the Jewish Theological Seminary, and an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley. Tammy is an alumna of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship.

Bobbi Maltz

Bobbi Maltz

Bobbi Maltz is the LIFE & LEGACY Executive Administrative Assistant, working directly for the National Director and supporting the entire LIFE & LEGACY Team. She is responsible for all administrative tasks related to running the program, including: helping with the annual conference, email communications, and managing Salesforce. Bobbi proudly served in the US Army for six years which included two deployments to Iraq. Bobbi earned a B.A. in Communication from the University of Connecticut and has many years of experience in retail management and as an executive assistant.
